Our roots go back to 1976 when S. J. Abed Group was first established in Africa and immediately began providing our specialized services. In 1986, the demand for our services saw a substantial increase which led us to expand our operations to Lagos, Nigeria providing industrial catering services to several organizations that are located remotely. The Word quickly spread around by 1991 and we initiated our catering and housekeeping services for swamp, on-shore and off-shore companies in Delta Niger. S.J. Abed now provides these to several well known oil & gas conglomerates around the world.

We later on started our group company in Oman under the name of S. J. Abed & Al Sulaimi Catering Group LLC. S. J. Abed General Services were later established in Iraq during the most hostile times; all our operations are well-established and functioning successfully till present. As of June 2019, we started our company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates under the name of S. J. Abed General Enterprises. The company established its base in Abu Dhabi to cater to organizations ranging from those operating remotely in the oil and gas sector to -5star hotels. S.J.
